Kathleen is a graduate from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy and joined the Bellesmere Massage Therapy team in 2023. She has always had a strong passion for helping others, and began her career by completing her BA in Psychology from York University in 2017.
Kathleen participated in multiple clinic settings, during her time at Sutherland-Chan, including the Maternity and the Palliative Care wards at MGH Hospital. She furthered her patient care studies in the Multiple Sclerosis and the Pregnancy clinics at the school. Kathleen volunteered for the Toronto Marathon / Triathlon and Bay Street Hoops tournament, providing pre and post-event care to the athletes. Her experience was so rewarding that it led her to become a supervisor for future RMTs at various volunteer events.
Kathleen takes time collaborating with her patients to ensure that top-level care is provided in creating an effective treatment plan to meet their goals. She uses her intuitive touch, coupled with various techniques, including: myofascial release; trigger point therapy; passive stretching and joint mobilizations, to target specific areas of concern.
She is keen on continuing her studies and deepening her knowledge of anatomy and a variety of advanced therapeutic techniques to ensure the best outcomes for her patients.
Outside of work, you could find Kathleen walking her dog, listening to music or watching the latest dramas or thrillers.
