Dzmitry Takarchuk

Dzmitry is an Osteopathic Practitioner and Registered Massage Therapist with a background in therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation, along with additional training in contemporary medical and neurofunctional acupuncture.

Dzmitry graduated with an advanced diploma in Massage Therapy from Centennial College in 2014. He obtained his Neurofunctional Acupuncture Certificate from McMaster University in 2015. He then graduated as a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner from the Canadian College of Osteopathy in 2022 Dzmitry was drawn to osteopathy for its integrative approach to manual therapy – one that considers the body as a whole rather than focusing on the area of pain. He combines clinical reasoning and hands on treatment with the understanding of how movement, structure, circulation and the nervous system influence overall function. Through careful assessment, he evaluates soft tissue tension, joint restrictions, posture, mobility, and movement patterns to help restore function. Seeing meaningful results in his clients continues to keep him passionate about his work.

Dzmitry believes that staying current with research and developments in manual therapy is essential to providing high-quality care. He continues to expand his knowledge and clinical skills through advanced studies, professional courses and workshops.

Outside of the clinic, you will usually find him outdoors – fishing, camping or hiking.
